Did I Hear You Say,

Back in the 1990’s, you used to always hear that girls were saying, “Where have all the real men gone?” When I hear that, I always thought to myself, are you blind, or just stupid? We are right here!! What I have noticed however, is that girls are STILL asking that question, and if they are still asking that question after 15 years, then maybe, just maybe there is something to it.
It seems to me that today’s society has really been …neutered….if you take a close look at it. Ever notice that everybody is VERY CAREFUL about what they do or say, always afraid they might offend someone or hurt someone’s feelings? We have even developed a way of speaking that totally takes the chance of offense OUT of the language – its called being “Politically Correct”. You can’t say “God” in public, you cannot discipline a kid in school (never mind that nowadays the children are armed and killing teachers) and you cannot EVER make a joke in the public eye.
What a load of horse****!!!
Society is taking every free-thinker, every person who has the balls to speak their mind or god forbid, perhaps think that things were a bit better when we were ALLOWED to be men, and turning them into Tinkerbell. And the girls ask us where the real men have gone. The girls have even developed TESTS now to determine if you are a real man – an alpha male – or another Namby Pamby poser.
You’ll find that the girls do this when they are deciding whether or not you are worth the time – like on a first date, or when things begin to become intimate. This is how the hot girls separate the wheat from the chaff.
In other words, she wants to know if you are what David DeAngelo (from the program On Being a Man) terms an “Alpha Man”, or if you are just another dog in the pack.
These tests can take many forms. Soon, though, you will be able to recognize them for what they are. She might ask you for a gift or something she wants. She could act bratty or have a tantrum, to see what she can get away with, or flake out on you without any notice, or even tell you that you are getting on her nerves to see if you will change your behavior.
Now – these things may seem small to you. However, to a girl , they are CRITICAL. If you fail one of these tests, she is going to do one of two things – she is going to realize you are a wuss and not a real man and will walk all over you until she gets bored with you and then she will leave, or she will just realize you are a wuss and leave then.
So – how do you pass these tests and show her you are a real alpha man? Well, let’s imagine for a moment that you are a wolf – the leader of the pack, the alpha-male (who, by the way, gets to mate with all the female wolves!). If a female wolf came up to the alpha-male and said, “Buy me this glittery ring to prove you love me!” – what do you think he would do? Would he go running off to the nearest wolf mall and buy it? Or would he maybe pat her on the head and say “Are you kidding me??? You are FUNNY!”
Or, perhaps, one of the lady wolves tells the alpha-male that the alpha wolf is getting on her nerves when he eats with his mouth open. Does the alpha wolf blush and apologize? Ya – right. Actually, he would probably continue to do it just to mess with her.
Let’s even take a look at a fairy tale. This is what all the girls say they want, right? Prince Charming, the white steed, whisked away, etc etc. Ok – so Prince Charming cannot be some whipped little wuss-bag. He has got to be THE MAN. He has to be strong, a savvy rider, a great horseman, commanding and able to make decisions. He is confident. He does not ask the fair maiden, “Would you like me to rescue you today?” No – he does it, he is in command and calling all the shots.
