Review of The MySpace Guardian Toolbar
By Online Security Authority on Apr 9, 2009 in MySpace
Hi Everyone,
I have had the opportunity to test and use a new service that is designed to protect parents and children alike from online dangers. I found the toolbar to be useful and a benefit to anyone that is on MySpace on a regular basis!
The http://www.myspaceguardian.com/ toolbar has served me well for the last couple weeks and it should and has been a great asset and a very useful tool for checking for predators in my area and the surrounding communities, for a very long time.
The other great thing is it is a free toolbar with no risk and great rewards. It was very easy to install and use, and is there anytime I need it. With a click of mouse I find out who’s on and who’s not… We were so impressed with this software that we are highlighting the company on our OSA radio show on Monday, June 11th @ Noon mst…This is the shows index page:

I want to invite you to listen in on the OSA live radio talk show. Yes, you heard that right, we have the creators of the MySpace Guardian Toolbar. Please join us, and ask the creators any question you like about their software, their system and any new projects they have in store for us over the next few months.
The MySpace Guardian helps protect parents and children from potential predators on MySpace. The toolbar is dedicated to protecting children online. With their tools and a combination of other child protection tools such as Search Help’s Sentry parental control software and sexual predator alerts, they intend to keep users safe online. You can visit there website here: http://www.myspaceguardian.com/
Thanks and we will see you all on Monday!

I hadn’t heard of this toolbar … kudos to the inventors!
I’ve seen a number of posts on Digg recently where they’ve arrested people for child harrasment on MySpace.

I've never heard of this toolbar either. Due to the fact that My Space is such a huge community people are actually trying to create software for the users. It's incredible what can new technologies via internet and human mind can accomplish.

This toolbar is also known as the Amber Alert Toolbar or BizRate Bar.
It displays advertisements on top of your search results, which is its main purpose.
Stopbadware.org b(among others) marks it as adware.
