Anti-Bullying Group to Visit Middle Schools and High Schools in Utah

April 20th, 2007 @ 3:51pm (KSL News) More than 70 percent of teens say they’ve been bullied and now a Utah group is trying to do something about it. High school and college students involved in the service group YouthLINC have put together a campaign against bullying and cyberbullying.
The “Bullying is Bull” program is in its trial run right now but will travel throughout the state to junior high and high schools.
They presented to 50 seventh graders today at Bonneville Junior High to test the new program. Terry Palmer with the YouthLINC program said, “They put together a program that doesn’t judge. It isn’t about trying to punish, it’s all about trying to make bullying an unpopular philosophy.” Read more @ KSL.com
