Kids create bogus teacher profiles on Web.

HUNTINGTON — There seems to be a new type of identity theft, where a person’s name is borrowed and placed with derogatory pictures and comments on personality profile Web sites like MySpace.
Someone’s identity isn’t stole. Instead their picture is pirated for the purpose of humiliation.
State Police reports there is a growing number of bogus MySpace profiles. In a case involving a local school, it appears that some students are setting up fake pages to post nasty comments and pictures of teachers and other students. Read more.
