Now who would of thought of this and why, well I’ll give 13 Billion reasons!!!
I found this story while doing some research and I must say this doesn’t surprise me… but why does everything GOOD have to have a BAD side?
The iPhone is now one of the hottest new phones available today. It is one of Apple’s new top selling products which has greatly increased both their market share and stock prices. There are many great uses for iPhones which surpass all other cellphones out there: they are great for listening to music, searching the internet, viewing high-resolution graphics, and most recently viewing porn.
The technological feats of the new iPhones are key to the porn industry. The large high-resolution screen size, speedy Web access, and ease of use make the iPhone more than ideal for looking at porn. The device’s miniaturized version of Apple’s Safari software simplifies mobile access and streamlines the process of tailoring dirty sites for optimal viewing on the go.
“It’s by far the porn-friendliest phone,” says Devan Cypher, representative for San Francisco–based Sin City Entertainment. It is estimated that In 2007, the international market for mobile adult content reached $1.7 billion, according to Juniper, but they also estimate that this market will grow to around $13 billion a year after the 2.0 version of the iPhone hits the market.
So much for answering my question?

We took it off our street corners and put into our back pockets… If people are not purchasing this product, there would be no demand… what kind of world are we living in, when there are millions of people who are either homeless, sick and starving and then overnight (1 year) we as a people can spend 13 BILLION!!! yes dollars on Mobile Porn?
I am sure the PC Porn world is worried about losing some revenue to this new industry, and are working fast and furious to get their CUT…

I’ve read that porn is an addiction and it’s a unique addiction in that it’s not induced through needles, pills, inhalants, etc. It’s unique in that it passes through the eyes and is encoded onto the brain.
If it’s expected to jump from $1.7 billion to $13 billion a year after the 2.0 version of the iPhone has been on the market… just give that some serious thought. New addictions to pornography are going to be staggering and how do you think that’s going to affect families? And realize this as well… there’s going to be a real imbalance in the psychological development of our children.
I wish I had an answer how best to prepare for all this… the only current and best solution I can offer any reader who is concerned about their child’s online safety, is to monitor your child’s online activity. Now, more than ever, parents need to familiarize themselves on how to use the available technologies, such as PC Pandora. These are new times and you are dealing with a new 21st Century Net-Generation.
Our children may be tech-savvy but, aren’t you smart enough to outwit your own child, well, so is a professional predator, pedophile, and purveyors of pornography. So, as their parent you need to be there for your child and help them through these Internet times.

im not sure whats going to happen but i know for a fact it will cost billions of dollars for something like this
